Desireé Livinsky, MD
Dr. Livinsky earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Biology from SUNY Stony Brook and worked as a New York City EMT-B before completing Columbia University’s Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, graduating in 2019. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was honored with the Medical Student Teaching Award and received advanced training through Penn’s Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety. There, she trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) protocols for OCD and anxiety disorders, and also completed Penn’s Psychotherapy Certificate Program.
Since 2023, Dr. Livinsky has served as an outpatient attending psychiatrist at the University of Pennsylvania’s Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic, where she also supervises and trains psychiatry residents. Her unique experience in treating patients from both therapeutic and medication management perspectives allows her to provide nuanced, individualized care, particularly for those navigating complex anxiety and mood conditions.
